AREAS OF ACTIVITY

INNOVATION grantmaking cluster

On the one hand, GEBERT RÜF STIFTUNG supports externally proposed high-quality innovative projects which satisfy the support criteria especially closely. At the same time, it initiates and interlinks projects with the aim of continually developing new time-limited focal points within the overall scheme of its grantmaking activities.

Time-limited areas of activity

With its limited resources, GEBERT RÜF STIFTUNG seeks to launch new initiatives by bundling its activities into specific areas of activity. Because it periodically redefines its areas of concentration, it does not maintain differentiated and consolidated programme lines. Since the activity areas are temporary, new capacity is continually freed for the development of new ones.

Active areas of activity

Focal commitments endowed with defined annual/framework budgets which essentially make up the grantmaking cluster of GEBERT RÜF STIFTUNG.
 – WISSENSCHAFT UND UNTERNEHMERTUM: Science Entrepreneurship, relaunch 2007 in form of public offer "venture kick"
 – INNOVATION AN FACHHOCHSCHULEN: Specific support for transformation processes, relaunched in 2009 under the title "Modellprojekte Fachhochschulen" in the form of the "BREF – Brückenschläge mit Erfolg" annual call for projects
