AREAS OF ACTIVITY

Gebert Rüf Stiftung promotes innovation for the benefit of Switzerland’s economy and society. It makes science effective by initiating impact-oriented innovation, research and education projects. Its funding strategy is presently based on eight areas of activity.

FUNDING

To select the projects, a funding strategy based on areas of activity is adopted. Originality, relevance and effectiveness of the projects are just as important as their assignment to a specific area of activity. The selection process usually consists of three stages and takes between three and six months from project submission to funding decision.

MEDIA

Gebert Rüf Stiftung sees itself as an effective service provider to the public sector. Subscribing to a contemporary understanding of not-for-profit foundation work, Gebert Rüf Stiftung provides open and transparent information on its grant-making activities, in particular on the projects it supports and the impact of its activities as well as on current developments in Gebert Rüf Stiftung's sphere of operation.
