Project management

Project description

The abstract should briefly and attractively summarize what your project is about. What problem is being tackled, what concrete solution is being targeted? In what way is your project innovative? What implementation and impact can be expected?
Legal teams suffer from inefficient, repetitive and error-prone processes, which all boil down to having to read and process enormous volumes of documents. At DeepJudge, we built an AI-powered and context-sensitive legal assistant, Knowledge Search, that can process and semantically search through tons of documents in an instant.
This means that a user can easily access information that is hidden and difficult to find in huge document databases. The DeepJudge search engine understands the meaning and the context of the search, allowing it to return results that are relevant and useful, every time. It enables lawyers to focus on strategic matters by improving the quality and efficiency of their work.
DeepJudge is unique because it is a product of cutting-edge technological research and development. It is tailored to legal terminology, keeps sensitive legal data secure from external third parties, and scales to handle enormous document databases.

Status/Results

As of this report, our search engine, Knowledge Search, is now a SaaS product ready for scalable deployment. Key achievements include seamless integration with legal industry document management systems, tailored AI customization to client work practices, multilingual capabilities, and positive user feedback from extensive testing. We're gaining traction in Switzerland with ongoing pilots and a licensing agreements, expanding efforts in the USA and UK, and our team has grown to 16 members, attracting talent from ETH Zurich and beyond.
