Abstract
Plastogaz develops plastic to gas technologies enabled by cutting edge catalysts. Our process has the potential to solve the plastic crisis by offering a novel, general chemical recycling technology. With our invention, unrecyclable mixtures of plastic waste can be transformed into clean burning fuel or new, virgin quality materials. Our technology mitigates plastic pollution and CO2 emissions simultaneously, and has the potential to close the loop of the circular economy.
Quelles sont les particularités de ce projet?
There are several plastic waste to fuel initiatives throughout the world. These initiatives focus on the production of liquid fuels, and the quality depends directly on the quality of the feedstock that enters the process. With our technology, since the product selectivity converges to a single gas product, we can process highly heterogeneous waste and still produce a high-quality gas product.
Etat/résultats intermédiaires
The project is currently in proof-of-concept phase that is nearly completed. The InnoBooster programme will allow us to finalize data acquisition on our lab demonstrator and expand towards pilot testing.
