LargoAI provides data-driven intelligence to the movie and advertisement industries with the proprietary technologies that show the recipes to success.
There is a growing void in the use of data-driven technology between the production and distribution phases of the films and series. Producers have continued to rely on a traditional approach while big streaming platforms have revolutionized production and distribution by using the data-driven intelligence. Streaming giants create best content with data-driven approach, however, other producers and moviemakers have a great lack of technology and data, which increases their risks for the return of investments and to sustain their existence in the ecosystem.
As a solution to this problem, Largo provides data-driven intelligence to the audio-visual industry with the proprietary technologies that show the recipes to success. We have a novel AI engine that has a cognitive pattern understanding system from video, audio, and text. The system converts these cognitive patterns to meaningful insights for the producers, writers, and distributors.
Quelles sont les particularités de ce projet?
We have already analyzed more than 40,000 films/scripts with our technology and created a system with a great learning that can show what kind of movie recipes can create what kind of revenue for specific countries. We can indicate what kind of minimal changes can be done over the film from the script level to the post production level to boost the revenues, reachibility of the film in the different countries, and increase overall impact. Our system can find the level of match between a character in the script and an actor / actress from a pool of 200,000 talents. Since our tool is much less biased compared to traditional decision-making process in the movie industry, it will create more opportunities for new talents and increase variety in the storytelling by showing new recipes to directors, producers, and writers.
Largo Films SA was founded in 2018 and made its initial market entry for AI tools from Hollywood at the start of 2019. The technologies got the interest of big studios and producers, and we already got our first contracts with US producers.
Right after this, we made a market entry for Europe in Cannes Film Festival in 2019 and got a big interest from Europe as well, which followed by some additional contracts. We have been selected as the best start-up in 67th San Sebastian Film Festival and selected as one of Horizon start-ups in 70th edition of Berlin Film Festival. Such recognitions in the film industry bring us great momentum for the market entry.
As of 2020, we launched a SaaS platform called Largo.ai for our technologies, which provides hands-on results for our customers. We made the market entry from Europe this product this year and already acquired many important producers as the customers.
