Description du projet
Liquid is a personal finance app, design specifically for young adults in Switzerland, that aims to help people effortlessly manage their finances. In today’s consumer driver society, where making quick impulse purchases often only takes a few seconds, expenses can easily get out of hand. Unfortunately, tracking one’s finances is currently rather cumbersome, requiring a lot of discipline and manual data entry.
Liquid solves this problem by allowing you to sync with all your accounts from all your banks, automatically synchronizing your income and expense with the app. This is made possible via Open Banking, a technology that is completely new in the Swiss private banking sector. But Liquid goes even further. We don’t just want to create “another budgeting app”. We are creating an app that seamlessly integrates into your day-to-day life and makes saving and tracking your money easy and fun. We lay high emphasis on understanding our users by focusing on a design that is both easy and intuitive. Furthermore, there are gamification elements such as streaks, challenges and rewards that help you even more in making your financial journey as stress-free as possible.
Through this, we hope to help young adults make better financial decision, so that they do not have to worry about where their money went and can truly spend it on what is important to them. We want to give our users back control of their money.
Etat/résultats intermédiaires
Currently, we are working intensively on the development of Liquid and making preparations for it’s first release. The legal entity, Liquid Network Gmbh, has already been formed in the beginning of the year. Furthermore, we have successfully completed our MVP (Minimum Viable Product) testing, validating core features and basic user experience.
Next, we aim to secure a Letter of Intent from cantonal or private bank, confirming institutional interest and Liquid’s potential. Following this, we will launch a first version of Liquid to the public, integrating first banks via bLink and gathering real user feedback to improve our app. Further steps will include collaborating with banks and insurance providers to offer more financial services to our users. We also hope to work with vendors to introduce reward-based incentives to our gamifications, to strengthen user motivation and engagement.
Through these developments, Liquid aims to bridge the gap in automated, user friendly personal finance management. We hope to make a positive impact on the young generations’ relationship with money, relieving financial anxiety and helping them save more money without feeling like they have to miss out on things they love.
