Description du projet

Many museum visitors feel disconnected with exhibits and difficult to navigate them — they lack context, storytelling and personal approach. Thus, up to 46% of the adult population prefer to never visit museums. One of the issues is the “one-fits-all” approach that museums apply to communicate to diverse audiences. Fresq aims to drastically change that.
Fresq is an AI-powered, personalized audio guide that adapts to each visitor’s knowledge level, interests, and language. Unlike traditional audio guides, Fresq interacts in real time, answering visitor questions and curating dynamic storytelling.
By integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) with museum-curated data, Fresq transforms museum visits into engaging and tailored experiences, increasing accessibility and inclusivity for all visitors.
With this project, we aim to:
- Develop a scalable, cost-efficient AI backend to provide high-quality real-time conversations with museum “knowledge”.
- Conduct pilot testing in Swiss museums to refine content personalization and user experience.
- Launch Fresq commercially as a SaaS platform for museums worldwide.
Our solution ensures that curators retain full control over content while offering visitors a more engaging and educational museum experience.

Etat/résultats intermédiaires

At the start of the project, we will:
- Finalize Fresq’s AI backend, reducing AI response costs.
- Conduct pilot testing with Aargauer Kunsthaus and additional museums, integrating real visitor and museum proffesional’s feedback.
- Optimize Fresq’s user interface for seamless accessibility and ease of use.
Planned outcomes:
- A fully functional AI-powered guide ready for museums.
- First museum partnerships.
- Expansion roadmap for scaling in Switzerland and Europe.
Fresq is designed as a SaaS model, ensuring museums can autonomously easily adopt and customize the content without hardware installations.
Future vision: We aim to secure follow-up funding and expand our partnerships with cultural institutions across the Europe
