Projektbeschreibung

Liquid is a personal finance app, designed specifically for young adults, that aims to help people effortlessly manage their finances. In today’s consumer driven society, where making quick impulse purchases often only takes a few seconds, expenses can easily get out of hand. Unfortunately, tracking one’s finance is currently rather cumbersome, requiring a lot of discipline and manual data entry.
Liquid solves this problem by allowing you to sync with all your accounts from all your banks, automatically synchronizing your income and expenses with the app. This is made possible via Open Banking, a technology that is completely new in the Swiss private banking sector. But Liquid goes even further. We don’t just want to create “another budgeting app”. We are creating an app that seamlessly integrates into your day-to-day life and makes saving and tracking your money easy and fun. We lay high emphasis on understanding our users by focusing on a design that is both easy and intuitive. Furthermore, there are gamification elements such as streaks, challenges and rewards that help even more in making your financial journey as stress-free as possible.
Through this, we hope to help young adults make better financial decisions, so that they do not have to worry about where their money went and can truly spend it on what is important to them. We want to give our users back control of their money.

Stand/Resultate

Liquid is a fully functional downloadable app. We have successfully onboarded 21 banks, including major institutions, enabling users to connect multiple accounts and view their finances in one aggregated overview.
In a first step, we will try to add more of our promised gamification features, that we hope will result in higher user engagement. Simultaneously, we will add the first crypto exchanges to our app. Beyond that we will try to implement more educational aspects in the app, that help build financial literacy. Finally, we will lay the groundwork for the introduction of PSS, so that payments can be made through Liquid. Of course, we will continue to add more banks during the whole project duration.
