A new revolutionary software technology is developed to create 3D digital models for product and industrial design. The technology allows manufacturers to design products faster, with higher precision and more intuitively than with existing technology and hence, more cost-effective. Our software simulates real-world physical contact between a designer and a 3D digital object and creates the sensation that a user can touch an object while creating it on a computer screen. Our technology relies on a disruptive concept to represent 3D graphical objects as a digital signal rather than as a standard computer graphics object as is the case today.
This project consists in evolving a previously developed industrial protoype-software into a pre-stage of a commercial product. The existing prototype served as a proof-of-concept to validate and confirm that our technology is compatible with industrial CAD standards, such as file formats required to communicate with manufacturing devices, and it was also used to prove that real products can be manufactured using the 3D digital designs created with our technology.

In the age of computerized and automated manufacturing, 3D printing and digitalization of production workflows, there is a raising need to provide new solutions to manufacturers to adapt to the industry 4.0. The design of products as well as the process of prototyping and manufacturing itself needs to become digital in order to keep up with the new standards set by the industry 4.0. The consequence is an increasing demand of new digital design tools that are intuitive to use and learn, affordable and accessible to small businesses, SMEs as well as large corporations. The jobs related to designing industrial products such as shoes, furniture, jewelry, bicycles, cars, buildings, household or kitchenware, etc. are more important than ever in the age of industry 4.0: however, the way they are executed is changing. Designers need to master 3D design software, 3D printers and the like instead of creating these products through hand labor.
Mirrakoi SA is committed to develop the next generation of 3D design software through its novel 3D CAD technology, which has been specifically developed to overcome today’s existing challenges in 3D design. Our technology enables designers to create and model digital objects with less effort, less expertise, and faster than with existing tools. We want to allow everyone with an idea to be a designer.
